Elizabeth Jane Hurley was an English model, actor and a singer who soared to fame during the 1990s, when she was the girlfriend of Hugh Grant. As Grant's film Four Weddings and a Funeral became a worldwide sensation, Hurley accompanied Grant to the film's Los Angeles premiere wearing a black Versace gown with gold safety pins. This dress received instant public attention. Her most memorable professional experience has been her involvement with the cosmetics firm Estee Lauder. Her first modeling gig was at Estee Lauder, when she was just 29 years old. She's been a model since 1995 in their line of products, including perfumes like Sensuous Intuition or Pleasures. Her best known cinematic work was her role as Vanessa Kensington in Mike Myers' hit spy comedies International Man of Mystery (1997) and Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999). I Kissed A Girl's mix of titillation, polished melody and an enthralling chorus made its popularity to reach the top 10 across multiple countries. It also helped Perry to sell more albums like the album One of the Boys (2007). With its bouncy sharp-tongued second track Hot N Cold also proving an enormous hit, the album written by Perry created herself ultimately registered the sales of over three million copies in the United States.
