Elizabeth Jane Hurley, an English model and actor who was famous during the 1990s for being Hugh Grant's partner, is an English model. In the 1990s, when Grant's film Four Weddings and a Funeral gained international recognition, Hurley accompanied Grant to the film's Los Angeles premiere wearing a black Versace dress with gold safety-pins. This outfit gained immediate press attention. The relationship she has had to Estee Lauder has been the top of her career. It offered Hurley her very first modelling opportunity in the year she turned 29 and has employed Hurley as a model in its products especially perfumes such as Sensuous Intuition as well as Pleasures from 1995. Her best-known cinematic role was when she played Vanessa Kensington in Mike Myers' hit spy comedies International Man of Mystery (1997) and Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999). Capitol Records however released Perry's EP Ur So Gay in 2007. The album's title track is a fun and humorous track that garnered only a small amount of media attention. I kissed a Girl, a confident ode to her sexual curiosity set against a hard-edged electronic-pop beat, was a big impact in the following years. Certain critics accused the song of promoting homosexual relationships, and others asserted that its explicit depiction of sexuality was intended in order to entice men into fantasy. I Kissed a Girl became the number one hit in the world due to the combination of sensuality and polished melody. It was also instrumental in driving sales of her 2008 album The One of the Boys. Its bouncy, sharp-tongued and bouncy second hit single Hot N Cold also proving an enormous hit, the album written by Perry recorded herself later registered greater than three million copies within the United States.
