Elizabeth Jane Hurley, an English model and actor who became famous in the 90s as Hugh's lover, was a former English model. As Grant's film Four Weddings and a Funeral became a worldwide sensation, Hurley accompanied Grant to the film's Los Angeles premiere wearing a black Versace dress and gold safety-pins. The dress immediately garnered media attention. Hurley's partnership together with Estee Lauder, a cosmetics maker, has been seen as the pinnacle of her professional life. The first time Hurley was a model, she started her career for Estee Laundry when she was just 29 years old. The model has been a model since the year 1995 for the company's products, particularly perfumes such as Sensuous Intuition or Pleasures. Most famously, she is known for her character, Vanessa Kensington, in the popular spy-films International Man of Mystery (2007) and Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me (2000). That helped her sell more albums including One of the Boys (2007). Along with its lively sharp-tongued, bouncy song Hot N Cold also proving popular the album much of written by Perry created herself ultimately registered sales of more than three million copies within the United States.
